Mom, can I have a snack?

Mom, can I have a snack? How many time a day do we here that? I am trying to solve that problem. I am washing and cleaning all of my fruit as soon as I get home from the market. I put the fruit where it is accessible to the kids. I just discoved these https://www.greenbags.com/?cid=501127. They are amazing! I bought mine at Walgreens for $9.99. Here is a $5/20 coupon that you can use there tomorrow. http://www.walgreens.com/hotbuys/default.jsp.

I also buy the small snack size baggies at the store and divide up the kids favorite munchies. The staples that I always have are: goldfish, Apple Jacks, Cheerios, raisins and nuts, Chex, and Fruit Loops. In a drawer in the fridge I keep pudding cups, yogurt, and jello cups.

The kids still have to ask me for a snack, but they can get it themselves!

Salsa Chicken

Salsa Chicken
Salsa Chicken2 lbs chicken ( I used breasts.)
1 cup salsa/ 1 1/2 cups if you are using breasts
1 can black beans drained
1 cup frozen corn
I put my chicken in frozen with all the ingredients.
It took about 6 hours to cook through on low. This would be a great base for burritos!

I found this recipe on http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/
