Beautiful Rolls

I put together this recipe the weekend and asked my girls what I should call it. They decided on beautiful rolls! So here is my latest creation!

2 cups warm water
5 T yeast
2/3 cup sugar
Let sit til bubbly

2 cups warm buttermilk
2/3 cup oil
10-12 cups flour one cup at a time
1T salt
2 eggs

I made it in my Kitchen-aid and it was almost over flowing, if you don't want to knead by hand you may want to cut the recipe in half.

Divide into two and let it raise til double, about 40 minutes. Shape in desired sizes and place on baking sheet, let them rise again for 30-40 minutes.

Menu Plan Monday 10/20-10/26

Last week was a slow one here, A was out of town and we still had a bit of the flu. I only cooked twice last week, so I have a lot to make up for this week!

Beef and noodles

spaghetti and garlic rolls


muffins and cider
White bean apple chili with cornbread

Sunday~biscuits and gravy
Autumn chicken salad with foccacia bread
Leftovers for dinner
